SWINDON FAIL IN CELTIC DEFENDER BID?

By Trialist

According to that bastion of accuracy, honesty, impartiality and truth, the Scottish Hun, “Swindon Town last night failed in a shock bid to land highly-rated Celtic youngster Scott Cuthbert.”

The Scottish Hun claims that Swindon Town manager Maurice Malpas was enthusiastic about securing the services of the 21-year old Celtic defender for the League One club.

However, the Scottish Hun reports Celtic Chief Executive Peter Lawwell “put a £100,000 price tag” on Scott Cuthbert and the move consequently collapsed.

The Scottish Hun claims Maurice Malpas will now “look elsewhere”.
