Home of Blackpool Shamrock CSC

This season will see the commencement of what we hope will be a very happy and mutually beneficial relationship between the Trades Club and Blackpool Shamrock CSC.

The facilities on offer at The Trades Club to the visiting (and resident) Celtic supporter are excellent.

On the ground floor there is a lounge bar which offers large screen TV's and evening entertainment throughout the summer season. Next door to the lounge bar is the Sports bar which has two full size snooker tables and a pool table as well as numerous darts boards.

Upstairs on the first floor (where most of the Blackpool Shamrock activity will take place) there is a self contained function suite with it's own bar, dance floor and comfortable seating for approximately 200 people.

There is a large pull down TV screen on the stage area and strategically placed large TV screens.

Last season we had our first 'social' evening in the club when we were entertained by the band Slievanamon from Glasgow and a great night was had by all. In fact the band have been booked by us for next years St. Patrick's night, so get that down in yer diaries.

John Hargate, the Trades Club manager, has not been resting on his laurels. He has managed to 'purloin' a signed Roy Keane Celtic shirt ,a team autographed football, a Celtic downlight for the dance floor area and Celtic beer mats.

John is doing his level best to look after us and we, no doubt, will make it our objective to make sure he will be pleased to see us.

When Setanta and / or Celtic TV publish the match timetables we will place the same on here. There is talk of matches being played on Friday and Monday nights but my guess is that most Celtic away games will be screened on Sundays at 14.00.

There's no excuse for missing the games, get yourself down to the Trades and enjoy the atmosphere with the Bhoys and Ghirls of Blackpool Shamrock CSC.
